Recently, when I was typing into Skype (2.7 for Mac), I typoed and then added my usual 's/wrok/work/' repair reply to notify the person I was talking to I do know how to spell, and amazingly, it just made the change: It showed the text as edited above the text. The edits don't show on everyone's clients yet, but I presume an upgrade on their clients will fix that.

Robb Douglass died in april - He ran a proper old-school site on many free hosts and dial-up. In what little dealings I had with him, involving snailmail and CDs, he seemed like a top bloke. He and the vital resource he made available to us all for free will be sadly missed.

For those who thought the El Reg review of the EOS400D was the worst ... review ... ever, Oh, how wrong we were. While it showed a complete and utter lack of understanding of the subject at hand, at least it didn't suggest different memory cards could affect picture quality. For that, we need to read the new worst camera review ever written. Yes, it is indeed the follow up to the 400D review. Of all online rags, The Register should know better.

If you've ever noticed some of the traits people have when lying, one of the cues is the direction they look when they lie. With that in mind, have a look at Wendy Alexander's resignation announcement, especially the part when she mentions "I have enjoyed the support [...]" at 2:20 or so.
